PracticeX Terms of Use
By installing or using the PracticeX Chrome extension, you agree to these terms.
1. What PracticeX is
PracticeX generates practice problems that resemble a question you select on screen. It is a study aid. It is not a tutor, a grader of record, or a substitute for your teacher or textbook.
2. Generated content can be wrong
Problems, answers, worked solutions, hints, and diagrams are produced by an AI model. They may contain mistakes. Check important results against a trusted source. We are not responsible for grades, decisions, or outcomes based on generated content.
3. Acceptable use
- Use PracticeX for learning and practice.
- Do not use it to violate your school's academic-integrity rules, including on exams or graded work where outside help is prohibited.
- Do not attempt to bypass the hourly limits, reverse-engineer the server, or send automated traffic.
- Do not submit screenshots containing other people's personal information.
4. Limits and availability
PracticeX is free and rate-limited per hour. The service may be slow, unavailable, or change without notice. We may suspend access for abuse.
5. Privacy
How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
6. Intellectual property
You may use generated problems for your own study. PracticeX, its name, and its logo belong to its developer. The extension bundles MathJax under the Apache 2.0 license.
7. No warranty
PracticeX is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any damages arising from its use.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
